These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Indexburg (the "Service"), an education platform operated by Indexburg. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Indexburg is intended for teachers, authorized teacher assistants, and education professionals. By registering, you represent that you are a teacher, authorized teaching assistant, or authorized support staff working on a teacher-owned account. Guardians and students may receive messages or reports but are not permitted to use teacher or assistant dashboard features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Teachers and assistants who record contact information for students or guardians in Indexburg represent and warrant that the contact details were willingly provided by the recipient (or the student's legal guardian) for the purpose of receiving teacher-related communications. Indexburg relies on teachers and assistants to obtain and record this consent.
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Indexburg. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. We process your data solely to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service integrates with Google Classroom and Google Meet to synchronize courses, rosters, and attendance data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is accessed only after explicit teacher authorization and can be revoked at any time.
The Service integrates with Zoom to create meetings and track attendance. By connecting your Zoom account:
Indexburg may send templated messages to guardians and students through WhatsApp. By using this feature:
Paid features are available through parent-recipient subscriptions (Plus and Pro plans), billed per student per month based on the parent phone number region. Subscriptions grant access to WhatsApp report delivery, parent alerts, and automated messaging features.
Refund Eligibility: You may request a refund within 14 days of the original subscription purchase date, provided that the subscription has not been used during that period.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or loss of data resulting from service interruptions.
Indexburg is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any legal disputes arising from platform use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo.
